Demonstrations are when you show and tell
You MUST answer the question “How”
Rules
- Must have at least 1 poster to list materials and steps.
- Poster must be able to be read from across the room, may include photos.
- Must have props, ingredients, materials, etc to show the steps.
- No live pets, firearms or knives are allowed.
- Explain and show steps and show final product.
- Can not just give a speech on a subject.
- Set up and clean up does not count in time limit.
Preparing for your demonstration:
- Gather materials/ingredients needed
- Design and make posters
- Practice and time your demonstration
4-H members will be judged during their 4-H club meetings.
